Traditional Print or Online Marketing? | Blog Post

ONLINE MARKETING
Advertising your brand online can provide opportunities to speak to your target audience and focus on engaging, nurturing and warming up those leads who are likely to do business with you.
The data you capture online (lead magnet > website > pixel > retargeting ads) is yours and it cuts through a lot of clutter to be much more targeted, trackable and measurable. It's smart and strategic marketing using DATA.
I am going to be teaching agri-rural businesses how to do this step by step early 2022. More info below.
In a nutshell, online advertising can measure and show real data so you can hone in on what advertising works best inside your business, collect your own data to cut down costs to build a warm audience and leverage that information to save time and money while taking away the guess work.
TRADITIONAL PRINT
I still believe there is a place for traditional print advertising (with strategy and a healthy budget). I suggest placing ads in newspapers that you know your audience is reading and also look at the timing of your ads - try not to advertise if you can help it when you know other businesses within your niche will be.
How to stand out?
Make the field smaller and be smart about where and how you show up.
Editorials with high quality, eye catching imagery and impactful/authentic words with a well written and unique story that resonates will stand out.
A good, independent PR/copy writer/journalist with experience in print media is worth their weight in gold to help you with this.
